Tricopter FPV Fun - Huyckfeld, Enzenreith und Eichberg

Nachdem die ersten FPV Versuche gut gelangen gab es hier zwei recht tolle Flugtage. Mittlerer Wind macht dem Tri nicht so viel aus - toll! Die Bewegungsfreiheit mit einem FPV Heli hat schon Suchtfaktor!
Ich hoffe das Video ist Euch nicht zu lange:
(zuerst Huyckfeld, ab 2:30 in Eenzenreith und ab 5:00 am Eichberg)

After the first FPV trials went very well I had two great flight sessions here. Medium winds are no problem for the Tri and the freedom of movement with this FPV heli is great and addictive!
I hope the vid isn't too long - first 2,5mins Huyckfield, then cemetery and at 5mins Eichberg (the best scenes!)

Tricopter Maiden / first FPV tries

Ich hab diesen tollen kleinen Tricopter von meinem Freund Melas (hier ist sein Youtube Kanal). Mir hat der Tricopter gefallen, weil er klein, schnell und günstig ist. Und er kann 300-700gr Nutzlast befördern - ich brauch grad 300gr (GoPro, FPV Cam+TX).
Das Flugverhalten ist sehr gut und stabil! Toll geeignet für Heli-FPV.


I got this great little multicopter from my friend melas (visit his Youtube Channel). The good thing about this multicopter is: it's cheap, fast and easy. It can fly with up to 700gr payload - I have around 300gr (GoPro and FPVcam+TX). Has flighttimes of around 7,5mins (with reserves on an 2500mah 3cell battery).

Videotipp: Computergesteuerte Quadros - extreme Manöver!

Hier wird mit einem Motioncapture-System die Bewegung des Quadros überwacht und auf einem HochleistungsPC die Flugbahn errechnet und wieder an den Quadro gefunkt. Das ganze funktioniert mit sehr vielen Updates / Sekunde - sonst würde das nicht klappen.

Mustang Dogfights

In den letzten Wochen hab ich etwas Onboard-Videomaterial gesammelt und die besten Szenen meiner Verfolgungsjagden zusammengeschnitten. Einfach ist es nicht, auf Sicht fliegend, den Fordermann vor die Linse zu bekommen!
Schaut Euch das Video ganz an, am Schluß gibts einen spektakulären Crash aus der Onboard-Prespektive.

MaxiSwift - the adventure continues

Nachdem ich bei der Rax beinahe und später bei Kranichberg wirklich abgestürzt bin,
musste ich schnell wieder in die Luft - die Angst vor einem Verlust der Ausrüstung darf kein Grund sein, nicht zu fliegen...
After nearly crashing at "Rax" and finally crashing badly into the woods at Kranichberg I had to continue and fight the fear of loosing my whole equipment...

Raachberg, Wartenstein 2 und Crash ins Auto:
Dies war ein recht kurzer Flug - als ich grad über Schloss Wartenstein war, begann es zu regnen...
Die Landung mit starken Seitenwinden verlief dann etwas unplanmäßig - aber dem Auto ist nix passiert :-)

This was a short flight over the valley - again to Castle Wartenstein - this time in HD. When I was directly over the castle it began to rain and got windy. The crosswinds at my landing site made it difficult and I did an unplanned landing REALLY CLOSE to my car :-) (Nothing happend to it!)


Letzten Sonntag wollten wir mal an einem anderen Ort Fliegen, und nicht nur immer die Berge zeigen, sondern hier mal die Seen in der Nähe von Wiener Neustadt. Am 3ten Seen von Links bin ich letzten Sommer mit der Funcub geflogen!

On an sunday trip we wanted to show something different (not always mountains but lakes and flat country). This flatlands are close to the hungarian border. You see the lakes around Wiener Neustadt. The third lake from the left is the one where I did my waterplane videos last summer!
