FPV Meet, Stunts, crashes - FUN on spectacular spot!

After a long winter and 63 days of not flying I met with my FPV buddies on our favourite spot and we had loads of fun just fooling around with panes, drones and RC cars there. Thanks to footage donors and sorry to the plane I destroeyd. After my first crash with the fragile Chimera4 I flew with the near indestrucible 5" ERA - and it was a good idea ;)

Next time I'll have my Penguin repaired - as this is the most fun FPV meet plane I have.

Stormflying 2025 (annual autumn RC gathering)

It was a wonderful day of flying – with good weather, a "Sturm" (the drink), and lots of fun at the airfield. Thanks to the organizers and also to everyone who helped rescue the poor penguin.
Please let me know how you like videos in my native language (it wouldn't have been any different here – I can rarely persuade my colleagues to speak English for my video :)

One finding on this language experiment:
if I do my video in my native language (German with some accent), It only translates into english.
When I do englisch videos, it translates into MANY languages...

FPV Meet 3/25: Fixedwing chases, 2 rescue missions and RC car madness

 This was a great FPV meet with my friends at our fav spot. Locals are nice there, space to land plenty, great mountain wall and lots of dive lines, mountain is also kind of accessible - although this doesn't always help - as you see in the 2 rescue missions (hint: if you see me using DVR footy, something went horribly wrong ;)

FPV Meet Shenenigangs, Fixedwing formation, Car bashing in the woods (Jan,Feb 25)

RC / FPV Friends and I met a few times in Jan/Feb and these are the highlights.  Thanks for all the pilots - those FPV action sessions were great! 

Insane Formation DIVES, pure FPV fun and PANIC with TX16s Emergency mode!

Here we met on one of my favourite spots. It's a dead end street, not a lot of people passing by, friendly farmers and no one complaining about our flying (even tho we were there the whole day) - great FPV day!

One of the last days of 2024 - and I had so much luck (with my ARWingpro). My friends were not so lucky: one destroyed RCCar (see the spectacular crash in my last short or here in the long form: https://youtu.be/K4gr_OThsE4 one missing Ranger T1, a few broken props, motormounts, ... Even tho it was subzero temps there - the sun warmed us up and besides the high and turbulent winds higher up near the cliffs, the weather was great. For me the star of this video is the MFD plane from Ritchie - it's the "Mothership" and it's been thru a lot as he told me. Fantastic slow flyer - but man - this speedy formation dive is the best I've seen in a long time. Most epic scenes in this video involved his plane ;) only few of the clips here were flown by myself :) Happ 2025, Mario and Crew!

Majestic Valley FPV Adventure: ARWing Chase, Epic Dives, and INAV Autolanding (failsafe)

This was maybe the best FPV flying we had this year. Great weather (after a foggy morning we drove an hour to reach 3 jawdropping spots. I already flew there but my buddy was overwhelmed by the landscape!

Instead of a long commented video you get something different this time. VERY different. Not sure if everybody will like the "twist" in here (there are also a few dramatic things that happend). Formation Buddies (2x Chimera 7, feat. Hover82)

Met an OG FPV pioneer a few times this early summer, showed him the best spots around my area. Ultimatly we converted both our Chimera 7s from old Airunits to DJI O3. Glad I did, because the Chimera 7 is still a very nice platform. Enjoy the scenery, greets and happy flying on the weekend!

FPV Meet 4/23: Summer FPV Meet "Rax"

Long overdue was the 4th meeting of likeminded (and similar crazy) FPVers. This time again next to the epic Rax mountainrange. Since it was quite hot we needed the shade and mostly spent time with testing, flying just for fun - only few of us got up to the mountain - others (me included) were a bit cursed with issues ;)

While I really enjoy flying fixedwing - it's amazing how stable the O3 live image of my Aura7 drone is (flew it last on that day after many gusty flights with planes).

Sorry that the audio commentary I now capture as a default with my Zoom H2n mic (awesome device). But as native german speakers we cannot just pretend to speak english all the time.

Met 3 FPV buddies on my home-field to fly fixedwing and have some fun. Was a lot of formation flying practise as well and a reminder on why you should always "check your six" :)

Can you PERCH a Wing? (should you?)

Supposed to be a fun FPV meet at our local flightfield. Turned out to be a lot of fun (but not equally distributed for all pilots ;) Once again I used the TitanDC5 here with the Peanut. Not because it's the best cam I have - but it's good enough for these kinds of videos and it's cheap enough to crash it!

Maidening hard and 5 longrange DIVES at the same time! (FPV Meet)

Met with TJ-FPV again (like in my last video Winghunters). This was when TJ-FPV decided he needs a proper wing - Rene helped him setup the iNav build and now they maidened these planes. Since the weather was great a few other pilots met us there as well - also trying to test their wings ;)

When they saw the tempting mountains on the horizon we also had to drive there as well - so this was basically 2 FPV meetings on one day.

On the 2nd location (3:05) we were 5 DJI FPV pilots and ultimatly flew quite far out to meet at the summit's cross of one of my fav spots. First I was sceptic and only used my goggles for audience mode, but then we flew off into the distance, 5 copters at the same time (all DJI digital, 25mbit mode) and had 0 problems with video! Of course there were some mishaps with tree branches ;) and some close calls... Wing chased by two Chimera 7

Have to tweak the settings of DJI A2 a bit more - or use the Gopro7 on this larger copter (to get rid of some jello).
