bought these myself on Hobbyking (because they ship fast ;) ZIPPY Compact 4000mAh 6S1P Also quite interesting are the Gaoneng HV LIPOS - their wh/weight ratio is 0,202 (wh/gr) vs 0,212 on your LIION pack. So these HV packs (how ever good they will hold up!) - they seem to be an alternative with more punch (but they are expensive and hardly available). Heatshrink for LiIon 6S (maybe 12cm instead of 13cm works better?)

RC Mini Challenge - 4 DJI Copters chasing 4 RC cars on track (CHAOS!)

One of my FPVer buddies was activley racing those crazy 1:5 Austin Minis back in the days so we were invited to fly there and get nice shots and loads of fun! I had no idea how hard it is to get close to them.

Top speed ~ 85kph, 5hp, 10kg, 2stroke engine The track looks quite small inside the FPV goggles ;) It's still a mystery to me how the crash did 0% harm to both of my cams (DJI Action 2, Insta OneX2). Pure luck that there are no scratches are on the lenses! Most fun was had when we flew with 4 DJI copters and chased 4 of those cars. Rare Bear FPV, meet and crash, 2 FunjetUltra mishaps

In preparation for some FPV fun at spontaneous meetups with my friends I converted my fast reno racer (the F8F Rare Bear from E-flite) to DJI FPV (with a simple backpack which I tested also on my EasyStar). The DJI Backpack is a super easy solution to get almost any plane ready for FPV. What I learned the hard way: the FRSky 2.4Ghz RX in combination with my new TX16S (and it's internal multi module) is not a trustworthy one... (there is a small chance that my ESC's bec locked up - but I don't think so) So from now on I will stick to Crossfire - also for planes and just use a 6ch adapter for the conventional RC stuff (where you don't just connect RX/TX pins to a UART ;)

There's more FPV Plane stuff coming up - been busy with iNav setup on my MiniTalon - will test it more today. Also upcoming: Lipo, LiIon testing for a 7" setup (tested a lot of packs already). These longer projects mean that I get to do less videos - but once they are done I hope they are of more value ;) I stand for HONEST reviews and opinions! Maidening hard and 5 longrange DIVES at the same time! (FPV Meet)

Met with TJ-FPV again (like in my last video Winghunters). This was when TJ-FPV decided he needs a proper wing - Rene helped him setup the iNav build and now they maidened these planes. Since the weather was great a few other pilots met us there as well - also trying to test their wings ;)

When they saw the tempting mountains on the horizon we also had to drive there as well - so this was basically 2 FPV meetings on one day.

On the 2nd location (3:05) we were 5 DJI FPV pilots and ultimatly flew quite far out to meet at the summit's cross of one of my fav spots. First I was sceptic and only used my goggles for audience mode, but then we flew off into the distance, 5 copters at the same time (all DJI digital, 25mbit mode) and had 0 problems with video! Of course there were some mishaps with tree branches ;) and some close calls... BetaFPV ELRS Modules

BetaFPV sent these TX modules for a closer look - and I was curious how they look like on the spectran V6 (Aaronia). This way it is very easy to see and understand the difference between 50hz and 500hz. This should help you decicde which rate to use for best performance (range or latency).

Chimera7 WINTER DIVES - is bigger better?

Finally put this copter to the test. Big mountains, bigger dives! I'm VERY happy with the result - let me know how YOU like it.

Since this is one of the best spots (which are within reasonable driving distance) I've been here quite often over the years. Lots of nice videos from here - reaching 11years in the past ;)

Relaxed scenery surfing with my Chimera7

These were 4 flight-sessions in early Feb '22 testing out the new copter, more important the best 4k cam for cinematic shots. Would have loved to use the DJI A2 more - but it's very sensitive to jello (which I cannot completly get rid of on this copter - and others have the same issue).

Looks like Gopro is still king in hiding jello.

Stay tuned for a pretty nice Dive at the mountains next up! So happy with how this system works now!

Scary long dive thru clouds... (and fix Jello)

This flight session was urgently needed because I got a new copter and after the nice wing-chase I couldn't reeally fly it in the bad weather. Since the wing video showed some jello (vibration wave effects on video) I wanted to try and see if the new "Telesin" frame mount for the DJI Action 2 would improve things (because the original magnetic mount has some play).

New mount? NO, doesn't change anything... Different settings (30/60 fps, rock steady vs "just" steady) - NO - still jello. Final solution to be jello free?
