New test setup: DJI Airunit on Tripod moving away (2.3km) with DJI Goggles and compare achived BITRATES.
I tested with 2 different powersettings (25 and 200mw) and was surprised that even with Stock antennas you could get a connection at 2.3km thru the fog!
- good line of sight (low fresnell zone intersection)
- big time fog!!! (reduces range about 50%?)
- AirUnit got constant 12v power (thru powersupply which was switchable)
- Maple Wireless L+RHCP TX Antennas (look pretty similar to DJI Stock)
Tested antennas (use the jumpmarks to find what you're curious for):
MapleWireless, Deathray 3Turn, 7Turn
DJI Stock, TrueRC Singularity, Foxeer Lollipop

MapleWireless: 4 patches for DJI with left+right polarization? Does it help?
How much better do they work, when you use L+R on the copter?
I also compare Stock vs. TrueRC Singularity vs Foxeer Lollipop.
To do such tests yourself, just use my little script to convert SRT files into excel understandable format, then use my Excel-Sheet to import those and get nice charts automatically. It's what I used here, if you do compareable flights the data can be pretty accurate!
