SOFTWARE is a downside here! The stock software is not reccomended (works only for basic stuff) - LIGHTBURN is the best choice here - 200$ for the license (maybe upgrade your license for GALVO-Lasers for less). With the manual and support they gave - I wasn't able to get Lightburn running. BUT - I figured this out on my own and found some important setup steps that need correction in their manual: 💡LIGHTBURN DRIVER Howto: old controller: "JCZFiber" (EZCAD2 devices - that's what their manual is reffering to) new controller "BSLFiber" (SeaCAD devices) - mine was listed as SEACad Laser in Device manager when driver wasnt loaded - so I got he new controller! - use the Driver (cypress...) from USB stick, this changes the driver name in your Windows Device Manager to "Cypress FX2LP sample device" - Lightburn: Device, manual add, BSLFibre, import: LmcPar.cfg (from USB Stick) ► SETTINGS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lq3Gqg26nWo https://www.omglaser.com/laser-settings Engrave on Stainless steel: First burn a white layer with a speed 180.000 mm/min, power 30, freq 60 Photo pass with speed 1800 mm/min, power 22, freq 60, and 600 dpi PLASTIC: (Pelikan case) Line: 20.000 (mm/min) / 3% power Fill engrave: 40.000 (mm/min) 3% power Black Aluminium Cards: 120.000/20% and for images increas the DPI settings in Lightburn to 600! also invert the image!!! This 1064 nm Laser works on: Aluminum (Aluminium), Brass (Messing), Carbide (Hartmetall) Gold, Silver, Steel, Stone (granite, marble, etc.), Titanium, Tungsten (Wolfram) hard plastic (but with good ventilation!) DONT use it on these materials because - toxic fumes: Kunstleder mit sechswertigem Chrom, Astatin, Berylliumoxid, Brom, Chlor, Polyvinylbutyral (PVB) und Polyvinylchlorid (PVC, Vinyl, Cintrausw.) Fluor, Polytetrafluorethylen (Teflon, PTFE usw.) Jod, Phenolharze, Epoxidharz - chance for flame inferno: paper and cardboard, most woods 🌐▬▬▬▬LINKS▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬🌐 please check my PATREON: https://bit.ly/2ESMtIO Use closest location and RCS10 for 10% OFF!!! https://monportlaser.de/?ref=RCS https://monportlaser.fr/?ref=RCS https://monportlaser.uk/?ref=RCS https://monportlaser.ca/?ref=RCS
