Scary long dive thru clouds... (and fix Jello)

This flight session was urgently needed because I got a new copter and after the nice wing-chase I couldn't reeally fly it in the bad weather. Since the wing video showed some jello (vibration wave effects on video) I wanted to try and see if the new "Telesin" frame mount for the DJI Action 2 would improve things (because the original magnetic mount has some play).
New mount? NO, doesn't change anything... Different settings (30/60 fps, rock steady vs "just" steady) - NO - still jello. Final solution to be jello free? (be surprised - or not - at the end ;) ●▬▬▬LINKS▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● HQProps (tho I don't know yet if they are better!): https://bit.ly/3gb1m8A Telesin Frame mount: https://bit.ly/3rdfZ1w last video with Wing-Chase: https://youtu.be/Rt37aFeR7Dw my DJI Action 2 review: https://youtu.be/cBm5-nHy36I my Gopro7 video where I found out how good it's against jello!: https://youtu.be/1Cc26Grjmc4 ●▬▬▬EQUIPMENT▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● Filmed with: Sony A7c, DJI Action 2, Gopro7 black, edited with Premiere Pro ●▬▬▬♫MUSIC▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● Parallax - Luwaks Amber Lights - Chill Cole I use EPIDEMIC SOUND, get your account here (affiliate): https://bit.ly/3p6OGE0 ╔═╦╗╔╦╗╔═╦═╦╦╦╦╗╔═╗ ║╚╣║║║╚╣╚╣╔╣╔╣║╚╣═╣ → http://goo.gl/szFJv ╠╗║╚╝║║╠╗║╚╣║║║║║═╣ (best way to support me!) ╚═╩══╩═╩═╩═╩╝╚╩═╩═╝ (¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.-RCSchim-.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯)

Wing chased by two Chimera 7

This was my first day of testing and flying my new Chimera7. Worked really well and later a friend with a wing joined us - right into the epic golden hour - great FPV session - hope you like it - visit T-Jay FPV's channel https://bit.ly/3H440sz and thanks to Rene for letting us chase his ARwing!
Have to tweak the settings of DJI A2 a bit more - or use the Gopro7 on this larger copter (to get rid of some jello).

what I liked about the TX16s the most...

Got this nice radio for review and instantly installed EdgeTX on it - see why...

RF in 3D: Analog vs DJI digital Video

One of the suggestions from the 1st "RF in 3D" video was: compare analog with digital video transmission. In this video you will hopefully understand better why DJI (and other digital video transmissions) can look so much better and how they achieve it! Analog is relativly easy to understand (works like your 1950ties analog TV) although I simplified it: it's not only FM but rather the color part is phased in as well). Digital on the other hand is quite complex and we need to know a few basic RF principles until we can "understand" the block of radio waves used by DJI and how it works:
DJI HDL (our Caddx Vista/Airunit RF spec): OFDM, 256QAM? or 64QAM 79.9999ms sync

ASK (amplitude shift keying) + PSK (phase shift keying) = QAMxx many spikes (64 or 256) on a grid that can transmit data simultaneous... After all the research I was a bit dissapointed that I couldn't decode the "spikes" myself with the spectran - but either my knowledge isn't sufficient (I'm not an RF engineer), or we don't know the correct modulation parameters, the sync time... how you RF Signals look like (Crossfire, FrSky, Futaba with Aaronia Spektran V6)

If you ever wanted to know how RF signals of popular protocols look like in 3D check out this video made with the Aaronia Spektran V6 (a pro grade RF spektrum analyzer). I was curios how the different protocols achieve their properties (long range?, fast refreshrate / low latency). There will be more videos of this kind as soon as I get more RXs bound to different protocols (like ELRS for sure). If you want some facts or numbers to be checked - just let me know in the comments! Greets and happy 2022, Mario
