Bei meiner Suche nach einer gscheiten FPV Plattform kam ich zu Mike Evans tollen Fliegern.
Er hat brav seine Pläne und viele Details zum Bau in die RCGroups-Foren gestellt. Für die Faulen gibts die Bauteile auch teilweise vorgefertigt.

Ich hab dem Flieger den Beinamen "Tucan" gegeben - warum wohl?

Mein setup:
MOTOR: AXI 2820/14
REGLER: MULTICONT BL-40 S-BEC MULTIPLEX
SERVOS: 2x Hitec HS55
Prop: APC 11X10 (first I used 11x4.7 but that was to slow)
RX: ACT DSL8
TX: FUTABA FF10
Gesamtgewicht: 2200g (mit 3200er 3zeller und 150g Ballast)
Schwerpunkt: 13,2cm von der Vorderkante des Flügels
Stallspeed ist ca 24-28km/h!!! - und man kann dieses Ding wirklich sehr langsam landen!
After my search for the best FPV platform I came to Mike Evans great designed Beasts, Crawlers and the "Solution".
He is so kind to put up full plans of his planes and there is a great forum where many builders discuss the plane (I got nearly all my info there)
My setup/used components:
MOTOR: AXI 2820/14
ESC: MULTICONT BL-40 S-BEC MULTIPLEX
SERVOS: 2x Hitec HS55
Prop: APC 11X10 (first I used 11x4.7 but that was to slow)
RX: ACT DSL8
TX: Graupner MX16s
All up weight: 2088g (with 3200mah battery and 150g dead ballast to obtain CG)
my CG (should be): 13,2cm from leading edge of the wing
my stall speed should be at 24km/h!!!
