===== Findings & Deep Dive =====
Version Differences (5A vs 10A)
There are 2 different versions to order (€200 difference). This refers to the CHARGER, not the battery! Both get 15 Ah capacity. The 10A charger just charges faster, allowing you to mow up to 7000m² instead of 4452m² per day.
🔋 Power & Standby
- 43 W avg: Too high if "Charging Brake" option is activated (for docks on slopes).
- 17 W normal: Without charging brake (~0.3 kWh vs 1 kWh per day).
🚜 The TRACK System
It still slips and tears up your lawn while doing so! It's not the "conquer-all-slopes" monster you might think. In fact, the Navimow X4 with wheels has better traction on most slopes. Biggest issue: While turning, the floating mow deck touches the ground, making it harder for the tracks to turn.
💡 Pro-Tip: The Flap
Remove the flap and the plastic frame! More grass will be thrown out and less will get stuck. This is definitely the way to go for extreme lawns.
✅ The Highlights
- Manual Mowing: A practical option for extreme steep slopes where AI struggles.
- Manual Mode Control: You can change speed (up to 1m/sec), mow height, and blade speed. It doesn't timeout quickly like others.
- Bluetooth Range: Better than most other bots; control feels very responsive.
- The App: Powerful, VERY responsive, and efficient. Setting up areas and NoGo zones is easy.
- Global & Per-Map Settings: Set path spacing (25-35cm), stripe angle, or even turn off one outer motor to prevent shooting grass onto paths.
